Two events celebrating George C. Marshall

April 06, 2018

You are invited to an Evening Spectacular at George C Marshall High School on April 18th, 2018, from 6:30 – 8:30 PM. Our event is entitled: George C. Marshall: the Man, his Life, and his Legacy.  The evening will start with a ribbon cutting for the official opening of the Marshall Museum located at Door #13, space now dedicated to George C Marshall’s life and legacy. Marshall High School students will act as docents for this event.  Shortly after the ribbon cutting, we will welcome a special senior-level U.S. Army leader from the Office of the Army Chief of Staff to speak about the legacy of General George C. Marshall and his importance to our country and community.  Refreshments will be available afterward for people to network and tour the museum.

During Learn on April 18th, we will welcome Mr. Dean DeArmon, who has worked on Capitol Hill for 30 years and who works with the George C. Marshall Foundation at VMI, to speak about our namesake George C. Marshall in the auditorium. All students are encouraged to attend.
