Ms. Bennett originated from upstate NY and is a diehard Buffalo Bills fan. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Mansfield University and her first Masters from Elmira College. She has been in FCPS for 25 years where she began her career as a Math teacher. After some years at middle school, Ms. Bennett began her transition to the high school level as a coach for volleyball, swimming and softball. Her love of sports and statistics also allowed her the opportunity to be an assistant athletic director and an assessment coach. Ms. Bennett obtained her second Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from George Mason University. She began her career as an assistant principal at Stuart High School in 2012. Her love for education continues as she pursues her PhD at George Mason University focusing on cultural responsiveness. Ms. Bennett’s enjoys exploring the outdoors with her two sons and her new yellow lab.
