Partnership for Safe Teen Driving (PTSD)

All students enrolled in classroom driver education must attend a 90-minute parent-teen traffic safety presentation. The 90-minute presentation is connected to classroom instruction and must be completed in addition to successful completion of classroom instruction in order for a student to receive a DEC-District 8 card.
The 90-minute parent-teen traffic safety presentation will be offered multiple times throughout the school year at Marshall High School. Important: You need to arrive on time as no one is admitted after the presentation begins.
The program is available to FCPS students enrolled in grade 10 health and physical education at no charge.
Students who are completing classroom instruction through a commercial driving school, are home schooled, are enrolled in another school division, or are FCPS students in grade 11 or 12 must register to attend the 90-minute parent-teen traffic safety presentation. A $30 fee applies. Registration is available through Adult and Community Education (ACE) at their REGISTRATION PAGE
