Marshall High School’s Statesmen Theatre Presents Winter One Acts

Falls Church, VA - February 2025 - Marshall High School’s Statesmen Theatre is thrilled to present its annual Winter One Acts on February 18 and 19 at 7:00 PM. Originally slated for the end of January, but postponed due to snow days, this beloved student-written and student-directed showcase features four engaging short plays:

“Love, Lucy” - A high school senior clings to childhood by writing letters to Peter Pan but faces an unexpected mystery.

“2nd Time’s the Charm” - A romantic comedy where two friends scheme to set up their single parents for reasons beyond love.

“A Very _____ Murder“ - A comedic murder mystery where two detectives struggle to get answers from three baffling suspects.

“Carried to Shore” - A poignant drama about a student learning to open up and heal.

There will also be an encore performance of Statesmen Theatre’s entry to this year’s VHSL competition, “Take My Hand” by Ahmad Maaty.

Doors open at 6:30 PM each night. Tickets are $5 for students and $12 for adults and will be available for purchase online at www.etix.com by February 5, or at the door.
