Daniel Daus
Mr. Daus was born and raised in Alexandria, Virginia. He is a product of Fairfax County Public Schools and he graduated from Mount Vernon High School. He earned his B.S. in Business Education and his M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Virginia Tech, where he earned his administrative credentials. Mr. Daus began his teaching career at West Potomac, where he taught business. He was a Business Education teacher at Mount Vernon and Lee High Schools. He also served at Lee High School as Dean of Students and Alternative School Administrator. From 1999 to 2004 he was an Assistant Principal at Oakton High School. In 2004 he became a Hearing Officer for FCPS at the Central Office prior to coming to Marshall High School in 2005. Mr. Daus’ favorite activities include spending time with his wife Kristin, and his children, Sara, Olivia, and Turk. He is most proud to be a Statesman!
