Dr. Olajuwon is a native of Cairo, Georgia. He served as a social studies teacher in the Atlanta metropolitan area for 10 years.  While in Atlanta, Dr. Olajuwon earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Georgia State University, his Master of Arts degree in Teaching Secondary Education from Mercer University, and his Educational Specialist degree in Teaching and Learning from Argosy University.  In 2015, he earned his Doctor of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University (Knoxville, TN).

In 2017, Dr. Olajuwon founded Education Without Boundaries, LLC, an education consulting business that provided professional learning services to educators across the United States.  Two years later, he became an assistant principal at Admiral Richard E. Byrd Middle School in Frederick County Public Schools (VA) where he worked until he became an assistant principal at Joyce Kilmer Middle School.  Dr. Olajuwon is excited to continue his secondary leadership experience at Marshall High School!  In addition to his duties as a school leader, Dr. Olajuwon is an associate adjunct professor at Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia.
