Dr. Heather Brandon Sondel is a native of Buffalo, New York and a real fan of the snow. She comes to George C. Marshall High School after working in both FCPS elementary and secondary schools, and as such, she has true appreciation for the art of teaching. She enjoys listening to students’ ideas and helping when they are struggling with problems. Dr. Sondel likes student events, and you will find her participating in classroom Kahoot! competitions, judging debates or voting on student presentations. An experienced STEM educator, Dr. Sondel is proud to supervise the Marshall Math department. Also, she supervises and supports the diverse Marshall community through our world-class ESOL department. To stay active, Dr. Sondel loves to run, do yoga and play tennis.
